House Rules Committee Works on Alternate Revenue Plans

The House Rules Committee passed a bill Tuesday which would expand Indian gaming that should lead to increased state revenue. The Tulsa World’s Randy Krehbiel and Barbara Hoberock write the bill would allow tribal casinos to offer forms of “ball-and-dice” games like roulette and craps. The Rules Committee also approved a $1,000 pay increase for teachers and raising gross production tax on legacy wells.
