Calvey Crosses $100K in Campaign Funds for Oklahoma County Commissioner Race

As Rep. Kevin Calvey winds down his career in the Legislature, it appears he is making fund raising gains to become the new Commissioner for Oklahoma County District Three. His campaign raised nearly $44,000 in the third quarter. He currently has $100,651 in his campaign war chest thanks to a personal loan to the campaign.

“I am grateful to the dozens of conservatives who have contributed to my campaign for more accountable county government,” said Calvey.  “I look forward to working with other like-minded officials who want to end the good-ol’-boy system and demand more responsible use of taxpayer dollars.”

Calvey is in the race to replace current Commissioner Ray Vaughn, who is not running for re-election. However, Vaughn’s chief deputy, Rick Buchanan has declared for the race.
