Cornett Passes 1,000 Donor Mark

Oklahoma City Mayor Mick Cornett’s gubernatorial campaign has hit the 1,000 donor mark and now has a volunteer county chairman in each of the state’s counties. The county chairmen will help build coalitions and recruit volunteers for Cornett’s campaign.

“We have a vision for this state, and everywhere I go, people are excited,” said Cornett. “Seeing the number of people donate and volunteer to help our campaign from a diverse geographic area is humbling. The grassroots are so important to our campaign, and working side by side with these activists who will help us fix the mess has been exhilarating.”

While Cornett is popular in central Oklahoma, he is facing candidates who have higher name recognition in the Tulsa area and rural areas.
