Senate District 27 Republicans to Decide Nominee in Special Election

Republican voters in Senate District 27 will participate in the final special election of 2017 on Tuesday. Six Republicans have filed to win the nomination to replace Senator Bryce Marlatt who resigned after being charged with sexual assault.

Vying for the nomination are Jeff Hall, Carolyn McLarty, Travis Templin, Casey Murdock, Tommy Nicholson and Michael Medill. The winner will face Democrat Amber Jensen for the seat in the special general election set for February 13, 2018.

Polls are open 7 a.m. until 7 p.m.
