Corporation Commission Judges Recommend Utilities Use Tax Break to Fund Customer Rebates

The Oklahoma Corporation Commission’s Administrative law judges are recommending utilities use the savings from the reduction of federal corporate tax rates to provide rebates to ratepayers. OK Energy Today reports Corporation Commissioner Bob Anthony and Attorney General Mike Hunter are making the recommendation. Hunter believes utilities stand to save more than $100 million a year from the tax cut.
