U.S. Senator James Lankford took to the Senate floor on Monday to advocate for the Pain-Capable Unborn Protection Act. Lankford worked on the legislation with U.S. Senators Lindsey Graham and Joni Ernst which bans abortion past five months of pregnancy. It didn’t get the number of votes it needed on the motion to proceed.
