Kingston Touts Campaign War Chest in Possible Labor Commissioner Run

While yet to formally announce he is a candidate for Labor Commissioner, former Oklahoma Senator Leo Kingston has $850,000 cash on hand for a possible campaign.

“I find it helpful to always keep our numbers growing – that’s why our cash on hand grew again. We are praying about this decision and it is not something I take lightly. I’m absolutely stunned by the amount of continued support and encouragement I am receiving to run for this office and I strongly believe we have a bright future ahead in Oklahoma,” said Kingston.

According to Kingston, he has more cash on hand than his two potential Republican primary opponents combined. Rep. Leslie Osborn has $311,184 on hand, while Cathy Costello has $271,825 on hand as of the end of the fourth quarter.

Looking deeper into the Ethics Commission campaign reports, it shows that Kingston loaned his campaign the $850,000 it has on hand and has received no recorded campaign donations. However, Osborn’s contributions are a mix of surplus funds from a previous campaign, individual donations, PAC donations and in-kind contributions. Costello’s campaign war chest consists of a loan of $275,050, individual donations and in-kind contributions.

I will not support Leo in any election! The man is a convicted criminal. Maybe he should just keep doing those commercials to buy houses and land leases.
