Legislative Committee Sets Stage for Step Up Oklahoma Plan Floor Vote

The Oklahoma House could put elements of the Step Up Oklahoma Plan to a vote next week. The plan would raise between $750 – $800 million while providing for a $5,000 teacher pay raise and government reforms, like tax credit caps. NonDoc‘s William Savage III writes the House Joint Committee on Appropriations and Budget approved the measures Thursday, but not without both sides questioning parts of the plan.
