McFerron Testifies in Kansas Voter Registration Lawsuit

An Oklahoma pollster testified Monday in a federal suit over Kansas voter citizenship requirements. The Topeka Capital-Journal’s Sherman Smith writes Pat McFerron admitted bias and other concerns in a survey which found one person who couldn’t produce proof of citizenship documents out of 500 Kansas adults. Kansas Secretary of State Kris Kobach hired McFerron to perform the poll. It is part of a federal bench trial over Kansas’s voter registration law.
