Inhofe Praises Release of Three Americans from North Korea

As the talks with North Korea draw closer, President Trump’s Administration has secured the release of three Americans being held by the hermit nation. U.S. Senator Jim Inhofe praises Trump’s success in getting the three released.

“I am pleased that North Korea has released Tony Kim, Kim Dong-chul, and Kim Hak-song, each of whom were wrongfully imprisoned by the North Korean regime and endured brutal detention. For the first time since December 2009, we do not have an American citizen held by the regime—a true reflection of the success of President Trump’s campaign of maximum pressure. This is yet another positive indicator that the upcoming talks between Kim Jong Un and President Trump will lead to meaningful results,” said in a statement released Wednesday.
