Washington Post: Emails Show Pruitt Requested Around the Clock Protection from Day One at EPA

The Washington Post claims it has obtained emails which indicate EPA Administrator Scott Pruitt was provided with around the clock security the day he began the job. EPA Inspector General Arthur Elkins told U.S. Senators Sheldon Whitehouse and Thomas R. Carper that “The decision was made by the Office of Criminal Enforcement, Forensics and Training after being informed that Mr. Pruitt requested 24/7 protection once he was confirmed as Administrator.”
