Lankford, Inhofe Disagree with Trump Assessment of Russian Election Interference

During a Monday press conference with Russian President Vladimir Putin, President Trump provided this assessment of the Russian interference issue:

“My people came to me, Dan Coats came to me and some others, they said they think it’s Russia. I have President Putin; he just said it’s not Russia. I will say this: I don’t see any reason why it would be.”

The Tulsa World’s Randy Krehbiel writes Oklahoma U.S. Senators James Lankford and Jim Inhofe are challenging that assessment.

Typical republican pearl clutching. Did they speak up when obama sent his OFA team to protest BiBi on our dime? Nah.

You are exactly right. I don’t know anything about Russia interference in our elections ever. I’ve seen no evidence only an accusation from Lankford. I expect this from Inhofe because he is part of the Military Complex which we must investigate for other reasons but Landford has been wrong on many issues. I was never for him. but many were. I hope they now see truly who he is and will not vote for him again. However, voters in our country seem to keep voting in ones who are not doing great jobs. I am a Republican and am disappointed in leftists being accepted as conservative just because they have a R before their name.
