Democratic Oklahoma Corporation Commission candidate Ashley Nicole McCray brings an environmentalist and Native activist background with her as she tries to unseat 30 year incumbent Commissioner Bob Anthony. OK Energy Today interviewed McCray and asked about her activist activities before deciding to run for office. While admitting her past tactics weren’t always the best way to promote her cause, McCray feels the campaign has helped her grow and understand the issues.
