Lankford Opposes Yemen Resolution

U.S. Senator James Lankford feels the U.S. should not stop fighting terrorists in Yemen as a civil war continues to rage with Saudi Arabian interference. He took to the Senate floor on Thursday to explain that he supports the peace talks in Sweden to end the civil war, but wants America to continue engaging al-Qaeda and ISIS.

Lankford voted against the resolution to end American involvement in Yemen. However, the measure passed 56 to 41.
