As chairman of the Senate Armed Services Committee, U.S. Senator Jim Inhofe led a delegation attending the Munich Security Conference over the weekend. The delegation included Senator Mike Enzi, Senator John Boozman, Senator Mike Rounds, Congressman Trent Kelly and Congressman Greg Gianforte. The meetings highlighted the importance of NATO and continued cooperation with allies and partners against Russia.
“Our allies and partners are an integral part of implementing the National Defense Strategy to counter Russia and China and the Munich Security Conference provides a unique opportunity to hold meaningful discussions about our shared goals,” Inhofe said. “I valued the opportunity to highlight how our continued cooperation and commitment to burden sharing will yield positive results.”
