Lawsuit Filed Against Unity Medical Marijuana Regulation Law

House Bill 2612, the Oklahoma Medical Marijuana and Patient Protection Act, was just signed into law last week, but it is already facing a legal challenge because of safety sensitive job protections for employers. The Tulsa World’s Samantha Vicent writes Leslie Collum, who is being represented by former Oklahoma Department of Health attorney Julia Ezell, believes her due process rights will be taken away by the law. Collum is a medical marijuana business owner and patient, as well as, a registered nurse, one of the occupations listed in the safety sensitive job list.
