On Saturday, Congresswoman Kendra Horn will host a discussion focused on the cost of treating diabetes. She will be joined by healthcare professionals to discuss a Congressional report on the high prices of medications to treat diabetes.
The report indicates diabetes patients in Horn’s Congressional District pay multiple times more than patients using the same treatments in the United Kingdom, Australia and Canada.
Horn’s discussion will be held June 29 from 12:00 noon until 1:30 p.m. at the St. Charles Borromeo Catholic Church in Warr Acres.
