Mullin Sees Need for More Competition to Drive Drug Prices Down

Congressman Markwayne Mullin would rather see more competition and less regulation to help bring down pharmaceutical drug prices. The Tulsa World’s Randy Krehbiel writes Mullin isn’t pleased with the lack of response from pharmaceutical companies, but he’s also resisting the call for price caps and increased regulation. Instead, he would like to see quicker drug approvals and ways to encourage new drug companies to develop.
