Stitt Looking to Replace Johnson as Higher Ed Chancellor

The Oklahoman is reporting Governor Stitt wants to replace Glen Johnson as the Chancellor of Higher Education. Nolan Clay writes Stitt said he wants a fresh set of eyes on higher education’s issues and believes Johnson has been in place too long for that to happen. State Regents for Higher Education Chairman Jody Parker said there was no time table to find Johnson’s successor.

The paper quotes a source saying that Stitt met with Johnson this summer to ask him to retire by the end of the year.

I voted for and support Gov. Stitt, but, man, he needs to learn to “smooth out” a bit. This story, coupled with the state office in D.C. (not speaking with Inhoff), shows that he needs to learn some leadership and empathy skills, quickly!!
