Oklahoma is expected to issue its first Real ID compliant state identification and drivers licenses in spring of 2020. Our state isn’t alone is trying to implement the secure ID systems. Chicago Tribune’s Jessica Wehrman writes other states have varying degrees of success, but all are trying to educate citizens who fly or enter federal buildings that they need to get a Real ID compliant ID by October 1, 2020.
