Stitt Pardons Recovery Advocate Rhonda Bear

Rhonda Bear has been working to help women in recovery and those leaving prison after addiction issues since she left prison in 2002. Tulsa World’s Randy Krehbiel writes Governor Stitt pardoned Bear saying that the her story exemplifies the need for second chances.

Bear has started coffee shops to provide jobs to women leaving the correctional system and trying to get their lives on track. She’s also the director of the Stand in the Gap Ministries Women in Transition program.
