Governor Kevin Stitt was in Florida for the launch of the joint NASA – Space X manned rocket. It is set to be the first manned space flight launched from American soil in nearly ten years. Cloud coverage caused the launch to be delayed until the next available launch window this weekend.
Stitt did get the opportunity to visit with Space X founder Elon Musk. In a social media post, Stitt also hinted at talking with Musk about locating a Tesla plant in Tulsa. Austin, Texas, is reportedly in the running for that facility meant to build Tesla’s Cybertruck.
