The president of the Oklahoma State Medical Association believes that Governor Kevin Stitt and lawmakers will not call a special session to repeal a law which makes it extremely difficult for a school district to require masks.
The Associated Press reports Dr. Mary Clarke has been in talks with Stitt and lawmakers, but there is “no indication of a desire to overturn the law.”
Democrats recently called for a special session to allow schools to decide the masking issue.
