Education, Elections Focus of Early Legislation for 2022 Session

While education issues always get attention when the Legislature is in session, it seems some lawmakers want to change voter registration oversight, mandates on vaccines and other medical treatments, and some personal rights.

Tulsa World’s Randy Krehbiel writes several bills already filed will attempt to more strictly control school curricula statewide.

One bill would change the way Oklahoma handles the purge of dead voters on the rolls.

Other legislation deals with restrictions on businesses requiring COVID-19 vaccinations or other medical treatments.
