During Thursday’s Commissioners of the Land Office meeting, Secretary Elliot Chambers announced he had tendered his resignation effective August 3 to Governor Kevin Stitt. This is in the wake of allegations of a conflict of interest with a contractor who managed state investment funds.
Tulsa World’s Andrea Eger and Barbara Hoberock write the Commissioners also considered the contractor’s fate, Victorum Capital, going into the new fiscal year which began on Friday.
