Supporters of Adult-Use Cannabis Initiative Petition Turn in Signatures

The group supporting State Question 820, which would create an adult-use marijuana program in Oklahoma, turned in more than 164,000 signatures on Tuesday. According to supporters, that should be more than enough to reach the ballot.

Tulsa World’s Barbara Hoberock writes supporters hope to get SQ 820 on the November ballot.

Two other marijuana related initiative petitions are still be circulated for signatures. Those state questions are attempting to put both medical cannabis and adult use marijuana programs into the state constitution and require more signatures.
