Mullin Takes Early Lead Over Faught, McBride Takes HD53 Race

Markwayne Mullin has an early lead over George Faught in their battle to win the Republican nomination for Congress in the 2nd District. With only 1331 votes counted, Mullin had 56.9 percent to 43.1 percent for Faught. It appears Mullin will be the GOP nominee.

In a closely-watched State House race, businessman Mark McBride leads housewife Paula Sullivan 53.8 to 46.2 percent in their HD53 contest and it appears McBride will coast to victory with about 60 percent of the vote.

Congratulations to Mark McBride on an honorably run campaign! Paula needs to learn that Chicago, liberal style politics have no business in Oklahoma!
