The Norman Tea Party is hosting a “Joe The Plumber” event on January 27th.
In an email to supporters, planners outline the event:
Tea Party Patriots,
I have attached a flier about the “Joe the Plumber” Event we are co-hosting on the January 27, 2012. We are so excited about this wonderful opportunity for conservatives to all get together. Make your reservations ASAP!! To purchase tickets, the easiest way, call KQCV (521-0800) and give them your name and a credit card or send in a check. Individual tickets will cost $17.00. Tell them you are with the Norman Tea Party and they will put you at one of our tables. Please let me know so I can keep a head count, as well. Print the flier and share it with everyone!!!
If you need a ride, let me know, because we have people who will be glad to include you in their cars.
The menu will include chili, corn bread, salad, and a cookie. At the dinner, Joe will answer questions (previously submitted) and Tea for Two Singers will entertain us with spoof songs.
FYI- Tables will be available for those who wish to advertise a business, candidacy, or just want to arrange to sit with friends. If you wish to purchase a table, it will be $125.00 for eight seats. When you call KQCV, give them the name you want for the table (e.g. Harvey, Norman Tea Party), and if you already know who will be joining you, you can give the names of your guests, as well. If you don’t know who will be joining you yet, just purchase the table and tell your guests to ask for the table by the name you have specified when they arrive that night. So you can purchase a table yourself and pay for your guests’ dinners or just purchase a table for a group of friends and have them each call KQCV and purchase their own tickets at the table. The secretaries will see that everyone gets to the right place.
If you buy a table and you wish to advertise, you can have your materials distributed to the other attendees. When you call KQCV, ask about the deadline for getting your materials in so they can be included in the packets for distribution. Also, for those purchasing tables, booths may be purchased to sell materials at the event. The secretaries will give you that specific information.
Let’s have a great turn out at this event. It is not far away and we stand ready to help you get there. The price is reasonable and the evening will be great fun!!! Let’s make Norman Tea Party very well represented.
