Former Rep. Abe Deutschendorf of Lawton is dead at age 77.
The longtime public school teacher and administrator served as a teacher, coach, counselor, assistant principal, and was principal at Eisenhower Junior High School in Lawon for over 25 years.
After retiring the school system, was elected to the State House and served for 12 years., he ran for political office and served as State Representative for west Lawton for 12 years.
He ewas a deacon at Trinity Baptist Church, where he was working when he died.
