Thank you Cong. Lankford for listening to your constituents AND standing firm on this vote. Please continue to focus on the problem – overspending by the government. Kicking the can down the road isn’t the answer! Thank you for keeping your eye on the ball and working to stop the wasteful spending as well as reining in the out of control shenanigans in DC.

Thank you Cong. Lankford! Would be great if others followed your example. But I won’t hold my breath.

I am glad you voted the conviction of your ideaology but as a Congressman you must also vote for, “the best interest of the nation” during difficult times. You failed your moment for a, ” Profile in Courage!”

You failed your first big test and represent the worst kind of politician. You voted no knowing others would save the day and the bill would pass and 98 % of your constituents would not have a tax increase …. You put personal ideology above what was best for your district ….shame shame on you . this bill wasn’t about spending . It was about whether or not the people in your district had their taxes increased the next day. You can vote later on spending measures and vote yes all day on decreasing spending. Learn when to pick your fights.
