Lee Slater Named Ethics Commission Director

Oklahoma City attorney Lee Slater, a former Capitol correspondent for the Tulsa World, has been named the new executive director of the Ethics Commission.

Slater, 69, once headed the State Election Board.

Slater’s speciality as an attorney has been campaign finance and lobbyist regulations.

He begins parttime at the Ethics Commission next month as he winds down his law practice. He will become fulltime at a salary of $120,000 per year not later than July 1st.
