Former Governors George Nigh and David Walters are Sunday’s guests on The Verdict.
The show airs on Cox Channels 3 and 703 in Oklahoma City and in Tulsa; it repeats Monday at 9:30 a.m., Tuesday at 10:00 a.m., and Wednesday at 10:00 a.m.
Nigh and Walters will discuss their thoughts on how the functions and responsibility of the governor have changed since they held that office.

Oklahoma City attorney Lee Slater, a former Capitol correspondent for the Tulsa World, has been named the new executive director of the Ethics Commission.
Slater, 69, once headed the State Election Board.
Slater’s speciality as an attorney has been campaign finance and lobbyist regulations.
He begins parttime at the Ethics Commission next month as he winds down his law practice. He will become fulltime at a salary of $120,000 per year not later than July 1st.
