Governor Kevin Stitt has named Judge Lynne McGuire as a Cleveland County District Judge. Since August of 2023, McGuire has been serving as a special judge for Cleveland County assigned to the family, small claims, and victim protective order dockets.
“Judge McGuire is a person of utmost character who will serve the people of Cleveland County with integrity,” said Stitt. “With decades of legal experience, Lynne is well-suited to balance the scales of justice with wisdom and empathy.”
McGuire also served as a special judge in Oklahoma County, Oklahoma Lawyers for Children president and chief executive officer, and worked as a prosecutor in the Oklahoma County District Attorney’s Office.
“I’m grateful to Governor Stitt for the opportunity to serve as Cleveland County district judge,” said McGuire. “It’s an honor to step into such an important role, grounded by the principles of community service and equal justice for all.”
