On Monday, the National Women’s Prayer and Voting Army announced it was endorsing former Oklahoma House Speaker Charles McCall’s bid for governor.
“We are extremely excited to announce that we are ENDORSING Charles McCall to be the next governor of Oklahoma!
“A former Congressman from OK District 22, Charles McCall was Oklahoma’s Speaker of the House for 8 years, the longest of any Republican in Oklahoma’s history! His amazing leadership experiences, coupled with his outstanding character, make him an excellent candidate, and we cannot wait to see him cross the finish line with flying colors in 2026!” the group wrote on its Facebook page announcing the endorsement.
McCall showed his appreciation of the endorsement.
“What an honor to be endorsed by the National Women’s Prayer and Voting Army. These women are prayer warriors, patriots, and defenders of faith, family, and freedom. I’m grateful for their trust and am proud to stand with them as we fight to keep Oklahoma rooted in conservative values,” wrote McCall in a Facebook post.
