Stitt Names LeFlore County Judge Fry to Court of Criminal Appeals

Governor Kevin Stitt has appointed LeFlore County Associate District Judge Marion D. Fry to the District 3 seat on the Oklahoma Court of Criminal Appeals.

Fry has served as associate district judge since 2015, presiding over cases including criminal and juvenile delinquency matters. Before joining the bench, he worked as an assistant district attorney in Tulsa and LeFlore counties.

“He knows the law, he respects the Constitution, and he understands that public safety matters to every Oklahoma family,” Stitt said. “I’m confident he’ll serve the people of eastern Oklahoma and our entire state well on the Court of Criminal Appeals.”

Fry was first elected in 2014 and was re-elected without opposition in 2018, 2022 and 2026.

“I am honored and humbled by Governor Stitt’s confidence in me,” Fry said. “I’ve spent my career working alongside law enforcement, victims and families in our courtrooms, and I’ve seen how much fair, faithful application of the law matters to them.”
