U.S. Senator Markwayne Mullin on Sunday appeared on CNN’s State of the Union with Jake Tapper to discuss the sudden shift in the Syrian Civil War. Mullin believes that more stability is coming in the near future for Syria because it appears the Assad regime is over.
During the conversation, Mullin also defended Tulsi Gabbard and Pete Hegseth as nominees for President-elect Donald Trump’s cabinet. Mullin is a member of the U.S. Senate Armed Services Committee.
