Cosner Files Campaign for District Judge in Adair and Sequoyah Counties

Veteran prosecutor Will Cosner announced his candidacy for district judge serving Adair and Sequoyah Counties in Oklahoma’s 15th Judicial District, citing more than a decade of experience in state and federal courtrooms.

Cosner currently serves as a chief deputy prosecutor in Crawford County, Arkansas. He previously worked as an Assistant U.S. Attorney for the Eastern District of Oklahoma and as an assistant district attorney for Adair, Cherokee, Sequoyah, and Wagoner Counties.

“Justice isn’t about politics, it’s about right and wrong,” Cosner said. “I’ve spent my career fighting for victims, protecting our communities, and standing for the Constitution. I’ll bring that same courage and common sense to the bench.”

During his career, Cosner has prosecuted hundreds of cases, including major felonies and murder trials. He has been recognized as Sequoyah County’s Prosecutor of the Year and has worked closely with local law enforcement agencies across eastern Oklahoma.

Cosner said his focus as a judge would be upholding the Constitution, supporting victims, and applying the law fairly and consistently.

“The people of Adair and Sequoyah Counties deserve a judge who will uphold the Constitution, stand firm for victims, and support law enforcement,” Cosner said. “That is exactly the kind of judge I will be.”
