OKC Chamber Endorses SQ 793

In the battle over where eye doctors can practice in Oklahoma, the Greater Oklahoma City Chamber of Commerce has endorsed State Question 793 which asks voters to allow vision care to take place within large retail locations like Walmart or Target. Currently, Oklahoma law prohibits the practice.

“The Oklahoma City Chamber supports SQ 793 as it enhances accessibility for consumers and will enable businesses to grow within our community,” Greater Oklahoma City Chamber Vice President of Government Relations and Policy Mark VanLandingham said.

Voters will decide the issue on November 6.
