Inhofe Leads Hearing Focused on China, Russia and U.S. Military Readiness

U.S. Senator Jim Inhofe wants to see the U.S. Military improve its readiness in the wake of “long-term strategic competition” with China and Russia. The most recent National Defense Strategy assessment indicated that America’s military advantage over China and Russia is eroding. Inhofe is the chairman of the Senate Armed Services Committee.

Inhofe also questioned national security and military advisors about the steps the U.S. needs to take to strengthen its armed forces.
