It’s a new assignment for U.S. Senator James Lankford on the Senate Finance Committee. He got to participate in the Committee’s first drug pricing hearing on Tuesday.
Lankford asked experts about the 340B Drug Pricing program’s increasing costs, the Medicaid rebate program, and increasing transparency in drug pricing.
Tuesday’s hearing was the first in a series dealing with fixes to the increasing prices for prescription drugs.
