Inhofe Calls for Army Modernization in Wake of Growing Chinese, Russian Military Strength

U.S. Senator Jim Inhofe used Tuesday’s Senate Armed Services Committee hearing on the posture of the Department of the Army to call for modernization of the military branch. He also questioned Secretary of the Army Mark Esper and Chief of Staff of the Army General Mark Milley about the Army’s readiness to take on China and Russia as they build out their militaries.

Inhofe is the chairman of the Senate Armed Services Committee.

    Inhofe talks about international threats, modernization, etc but folds like a worn out pup tent allowing President Trump to divert, illegally, one billion dollars from the defense budget that obviously Inhofe had previously supported.

    Clearly Jim doesn’t know a damn thing about the separation of powers in our governmental structure or care when a Republican violates same.
