19 lawyers. 40 FBI agents, intelligence analysts, forensic accountants, and professional staff. Over 2,800 subpoenas. Nearly 500 search warrants. More than 230 orders for communication records. 13 requests to foreign governments for evidence. 500 witness interviews. No collusion. No obstruction of justice.
After two years and $25 million in taxpayer money, Special Counsel Robert Mueller has finished his investigation of alleged collusion between the Russian government and the campaign of Donald J. Trump. The Special Counsel’s report states: “[T]he investigation did not establish that members of the Trump campaign conspired or coordinated with the Russian government in its election interference activities.”
Republicans long knew there was no collusion. Pelosi Democrats refused to believe it. Our country’s justice system was created to presume an individual is innocent until proven guilty. Instead, Democrats accused President Trump of collusion from the very beginning. House Intelligence Committee Chairman Adam Schiff (D-Calif.) said there was clear evidence of collusion—long before Mueller filed his report. Schiff continues to lie to the American people, telling them “undoubtedly there is collusion.”
The fact that Pelosi Democrats continue to lie and slander our president shows only the degradation of their character, their off the charts hatred of President Trump, and their inability to put aside their personal feelings for the betterment for the American people.
Now it is time for Pelosi Democrats to move on from this ridiculous charade that they have peddled to the American people for over two years. The Mueller investigation makes it clear that their smears were farfetched, and they must stop trying to undermine the President. House Democrats ought to give up this witch hunt and start working across the aisle to keep America great. This case is closed.
