Congressman Kevin Hern joined Minority Whip Congressman Steve Scalise on his House Energy Action Team (HEAT). Congressman Markwayne Mullin announced earlier he was part of the team supporting an “all of the above” energy approach as an alternative to the Green New Deal.
HEAT members are working to bring the Green New Deal to the House floor for a vote. This comes in the wake of the U.S. Senate rejecting the $93 trillion proposal to address climate change.
