Garvin Announces Candidacy for Senate District 43

Assisted living administrator Jessica Garvin announced Wednesday she is running as a Republican for Senate District 43. The seat is currently held by Republican Senator Paul Scott. Garvin also is the co-founder of Bison Health Management. She’s looking to put her health care experiences to work for the Legislature.

“My passion has been demonstrated throughout my professional career by improving Oklahoma’s health care system, mental health programs, rural healthcare, education, community improvement and small business growth” said Garvin. “After thoughtful consideration, discussions with family, friends and prayer, I feel called to serve not only the district, but to continue the momentum of Oklahoma’s turnaround.”

The turnaround is a callback to Governor Kevin Stitt’s campaign last year.

“Oklahoma’s turnaround has started, and I am dedicated to continue that by helping to improving the quality of life for all Oklahomans, continuing to improve the education system, pursuing improvements to our state’s infrastructure, and making critical improvements to rural healthcare and mental health, which effects the residents in District 43,” said Garvin.
