Senator Dave Rader is the new chair of the Senate Republican Caucus. Senator Greg McCortney was elected vice-chair. The election was made necessary by the resignation of Senator Jason Smalley who was the previous chairman.
Rader was previously the vice-chair.
“Caucus chair and vice chair are important leadership roles, and I know Senator Rader and Senator McCortney will do a great job on behalf of the Senate Republican Caucus,” said Senate President Pro Tem Greg Treat.
