Keating Resigns from OCPA Board

Former Governor Frank Keating recently resigned from the Oklahoma Council of Public Affairs (OCPA) Board. Keating first took the position at the conservative think tank in February 2017.

NonDoc’s Tres Savage writes his publication obtained an email with Keating’s resignation letter to OCPA Board Chairman Larry Parman. In the letter, Keating outlines his disappointment with OCPA’s “libertarian drift” among other issues, including stances on State Question 805 and Native American issues.

Really sorry to see Frank Keating leave the OCPA board, but thought his resignation email was a little odd. Looks like he got his nose out of joint because they didn’t seat Jim Gallogly or Sarah Huckabee Sanders at his table. Dear me.

I am also reminded of Ronald Reagan’s saying that the person who agrees with me 80% of the time is not my 20% enemy. And as to calling out RINO legislators, OCPA is just doing its job.
