It is official, Stephanie Bice is now the 5th District Congresswoman for the state of Oklahoma. Bice took her oath of office on Sunday with her daughter, Ainsley holding the bible. She defeated Democrat incumbent Congresswoman Kendra Horn to return the House Delegation to all Republican.
“I am honored the people of this district have chosen me to represent them in the 117th Congress,” Bice said. “We have tremendous challenges before us as a nation and we need a Congress that can get things done. I’m ready to work diligently for Oklahomans to propose meaningful legislation that will strengthen our economy and put Americans back to work.”
Bice will be receiving her committee assignments soon.
