OK Supreme Court Rejects Two More Stitt Negotiated Gaming Compacts

The Oklahoma Supreme Court has rejected two more of the gaming compacts negotiated by Governor Stitt with two of the state’s tribal nations.

The Associated Press’ Sean Murphy writes the ruling invalidates the compacts with the Kialegee Tribal Town and the United Keetoowah Band of Cherokee Indians in the lawsuit brought by House Speaker Charles McCall and Senate President Pro Tempore Greg Treat.

It was similar to the ruling against two other tribal gaming compacts negotiated by Stitt in an attempt renegotiate all gaming compacts.
