Stitt Campaign Raises More than Quarter Million in Second Quarter

It appears Governor Kevin Stitt’s re-election campaign fundraising is off to a solid start with $773,432.26 raised during the second quarter of this year. The campaign says more than two-thousand individuals donated with 65 percent of the donations being $100 or less.

“It is a deep honor to see such overwhelming support for our efforts to make Oklahoma a Top Ten state,” said Stitt. “By working together with Oklahomans from across the state, we have built the largest savings account in Oklahoma’s history, funded education at historic highs, cut taxes for all, and protected both public health and our economy through an unprecedented pandemic. Oklahoma’s turnaround is well underway thanks to common-sense conservative principles. With one more term, we will be able to accelerate our efforts and deliver lasting change for the better of all 4 million Oklahomans.”

The Stitt Campaign now has $1.2 million in the bank for the 2022 elections.

So far, four other candidates have declared campaigns for governor.

Former Oklahoma Senator Dr. Ervin Yen is challenging Stitt for the Republican nomination.  Yen raised $12,700 from individual donors. With other funds, he has more than $168-thousand in his campaign war chest.

Libertarian Natalie Bruno’s Second Quarter financial report shows she has raised $280. She has $240.31 in the bank.

Former State Senator Connie Johnson is mounting another campaign for the Democratic nomination for Governor. Her campaign has yet to file its Second Quarter financial report.

Independent activist Paul Tay has not filed campaign financial reports, either.
