As H.R. 4502 makes its way through the U.S. House process, Congressman Kevin Hern is trying to add some spending cuts to the appropriations bill. He is proposing six amendments which would cut 20 percent from different divisions in the spending package.
Hern took to the House floor to defend his spending cut proposal invoking the late U.S. Senator Tom Coburn who took the role of a fiscal hawk during his time in office.
